How to Keep a TSH Level

Many times TSH numbers are driven to a certain preconceived idea of what it should be. We don't want to suppress T SH too low because if there's problems with peripheral conversion, the natural inclination of the thyroid gland's is to say hey, I can still help out. The patient cannot tell the difference between 3.5 and 1.5. When you bring the patient from the TSH of 3.5 to 1, in a randomized double blind placebo control, whatever trial, there's no difference.
