Pylos - The Last Year of Pylos Tablets

Pylos was on the west coast of the peloponnese, with its easternland approaches being well protected by geography. The evidence shows multiple destructions taking place at the palace of miceni and tyrans over a roughly 70 year period. Elsewhere in the region, at smaller settlements, signs of destruction and abandonment of settlements are also present.
