The Design Solution to Aging Players Overthinking the Difficulty of Puzzles
I suspect that the answer most people come up with when talking about this is we just let them overthink it because I don't know that there's been a game that's tackled that and if they have, they've done it so well that you can't tell. There's a design solution and I think there's a trend that's going to continue. For at least for tears of the kingdom, you would need to think there's multiple options. And that's the next layer. It's one of those things where basically creating interesting challenges and then giving the player the tools to figure out their own solution to that challenge. That has always been something we're moving towards as an industry.
