When i first had an electric car for the first brief period, you drive it like a bloody idiot. The reason is that you have no sense of resentment when you are forced to slow down because of regenerative breaking. It's called one pedal driving, where, basely, if you take your foot off the accelerator, the engine does all the breaking for you and regenerates most of the power back into the battery. There's obviously a big difference between going 30 weno 50 miles an hour and there's a huge difference between going 60 and 80 miles an hour.
