I Think Machine Learning Is the Next Big Thing?
i've always been really interested in economics, and am. And i think at some point m l will diffuse and just be a part of all of these fields. But i think we'll get to the point where maybe even conversationally, i won't even be m l. It might be part speech understanding or something like that. I mean, if you really back up and think about what machine learning is, it's trying to solve qualitatively different kind of problems because they have such a high degree of dimensionality.
