How to Start a Career as a Scientist

Science isn't about telling people a body of knowledge, it's about asking questions. The idea that in your mind right now you are enough to be a scientist is how I would start five year olds on the path to being a scientist. So why is that sweater green? What makes the color green? What is light? Where does light come from? Why do we enjoy those colors? How does our eye perceive them? What is the brain doing? And maybe you'll have an idea that nobody else ever did.
