The game of deduction is played with no involvement of your own beliefs, right? So you're not what, what you yourself think of the premises should play no role at all when you're evaluating the validity of a deductive argument. The whole point is that for us, i's really, if you're looking at deduction from this point of yow, valid. You don't care what people think or do not think about the premises. And so it was important, i thought, to distinguish these three features, right of deduction, and use them to discuss different manifestations of the phenomena that was interested in.
