Satanism and the Church of Satan

Atheistic Satanism does not acknowledge the existence of either God or Satan. They like to stir shit up, which I think is pretty in this like funny, like absurdist way that I appreciate. And also they're really about human rights. Because it's that kind of thing of saying, you don't get to say, you know, abortion is illegal and immoral. Therefore I'm going to kill you because that in and of itself is so hypocritical and so insane. So he didn't actually believe in Satan or the devil, but as a symbol of self-reliance, independence, and individuality - what satanic people stand for.
