The Rise and Fall of Matchbox
In 2003, Mattel created an entire line of Matchbox fantasy vehicles that did not go over well once again. There was a backlash and the line was very quickly canceled and pulled from shelves. These fantasy vehicles were called ultra heroes, which sounds kind of like lazy writing.
