The Kangaroo Leather Boycott
Every year the same amount of kangaroos are killed. They're either killed by a drop permit or they're killed by a harvest permit. The amount of harvest permits that are used is proportional to the price you get per kilogram of kangaroo. That market took a big hit last year, price wise, due to Germany banning the use of human consumption of kang marsupials. And I can only assume the price will drop again with these US based bans on kangaroo leather.
