Introduction
R.F. Kwong's new novel Yellowface is about a thief who steals another writer's manuscript and publishes it under her own name. Kwong: "I love writing unlikable narrators but the trick here is it's much more fun to follow a character that does have a sympathetic background" She also dishes on what it takes to write imperfect protagonists and why she worries that she may become like her characters.
