The Importance of Conflict

Germany is and has been ungovernable to the modern era. This could have accelerated that significantly, because it's not like there was any other competitor state that could have built resistance to an effective Anglo French Empire. And so the fact that everybody in Europe is always fighting their neighbor and every moment,. therefore every momentary advantage over their neighbor is to be exploited out of again necessity. I think that’s the fundamental social condition that brings everything else into alignment.
