Lenin and the Revolutionary Party
I think Gramsci's Leninist for sure. I think people try to wean their interpretations of Gramsci away from this with lots of theoretical fancy footwork, but I think the politics of it are Leninist. At the same time, I don't think this is an easy question to answer because revolutionary parties have a number of contradictions they're trying to move through. This has all the usual problems that it does,. It's 100 years later and I don't see a better plan. If you can tell me who's got better ideas than what the old left was doing, I'm all ears. That's my soapbox for the day.
