Cardio Type Exercise for Sport Applications

A lot of people who are really into lifting are very hesitant to add any type of physical activity or cardio in addition to their lifting because they've heard about the interference effect that comes with concurrent training. So when we say concurrent training, we're going to operationally define that as a training program that includes both resistance training and cardio training concurrently within the same program. But there is some degree of concern among many lifters that if they do some additional cardio, it is going to interfere with those resistance training adaptations. In most cases, the typical lifter really doesn't need to worry about it much at all.
