Everything, non-living, physical, mental, everything will be known by knowing only one thing. That answer in Vedanta is Brahman. And it's pretty logical because Brahman is defined as sat being. Existence itself, existence itself clothed in various names, forms and functions is the universe. So, what he's asking here? The answer will be given by the Rishi. They already know the answer. It's Brahman. It's the ultimate reality, which is appearing in various names and forms in this universe.

Swami Sarvapriyananda teaches the Mundaka Upanishad which one of the major Upanishads belonging to the Atharva Veda. Mundaka means ''shaved'' like a shaved head. The teachings revealed in this Upanishad are meant to leave the student clean, or shaved of the veil of ignorance. Indeed, the study of this Upanishad has been traditionally confined to the shaven-heads, or the sannyasins, who have renounced everything and devoted themselves exclusively to contemplation.
