Is It Torture or Pleasure?

Rory and Julie are moving into the same house that Frank disappeared in because Rory is Frank's brother. They've been married for four years but their relationship isn't smashing. Julia also doesn't like that his friend Chris Kierstee, who's in the neighborhood, has the hots for him. We don't get really anything from Rory's perspective. He's kind of there to frustrate Julia. When they move into the house, Kierstee shows up to help. And she goes into one room and it's weird in there. The window blind is nailed shut. And it's damp. And you kind of hear church bells nearby. You could say they experience pain as pleasure.
