The Importance of Different Tyres in F1
We've had a ridiculous range of compounds in the past. Why do we have to have that many different compounds? If you just said, if you put it middle of the range, one end or the other, you're always going to have variation within the three tyres that you nominate. I think that's a great idea, and I don't understand. In this era where we're supposedly getting a more experimental F1, they want to try things with the format. That feels like a tiny change that is worth trying at some point. It might be that if we say use all three compounds, something weird happens there. You might have to get into things like mandating a minimum stint
