The Implications for the Radio Station
Danny Cohen, who was director of television at the BBC from 2013 to 2015, joins us for an annual chat. He talks about how young people are spending hours a day on TikTok and snacking. What do you think that means for radio station? Well, it's terrifying, isn't it? I think that maybe it's a phase. Maybe if we grow into it, maybe we give it another five or ten years, attention spans will start to grow up again,. And we'll be able to give people a little bit more than they're currently asking for. That's my optimistic and perhaps naive take on it.
