The Spiral Staircase
The spiral staircase in the chapel of Our Lady of Light, first began to attract fame and legend during the early 20th century. In 1939, and again in 1957, Robert Ripley depicted the staircase in his Believe It or Not column. The evidence points to it being built by Frank Roshas, possibly with the assistance of some other men whose families have reported that they were involved like Johann Hadwiger. And it may have been built under God's special providence in connection with the novena said by the nuns.

A group of nuns in Santa Fe, New Mexico in the late 1800s needed a special staircase built for their chapel, so they prayed a novena and a mysterious workman came and built it. Jimmy Akin and Dom Bettinelli discuss what makes the spiral staircase special, who built it, and whether it could have been St. Joseph himself.
