Nolan's Subjective Inflected Shots

There's a big stylistic choice which is the heavy use of what some people call in subjectively inflected shots. So these are shots which evoke the subjective experience of a particular character often with non diegetic dimensions. These are not techniques that Nolan really has used much in the past this feels like a real departure for him. He actually tasked his VFX supervisor Andrew Jackson with, and his team with going out and creating this stuff like sort of finding these. I mean, this is so step back. All those, you know, those subjective shots of, for example, the speech after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Those are really in a continuum with his visions of the quantum world. Right
