We need to create a system in which people stay close to home, says Amering. The mass exodus thousands of graduates every year down to london creates a massive problem for the capital and its housing markets. And i think fixing that problem would allow for a greater transfer of human and material capital between the urban centres and smaller town s. That would hopefully help to lift all boats.
