The Rise of the Rent Blast in the US

The maximum or ideal percentage of income that renters should spend on housing is 30%. Why 30%? Symbolic? It's not 30%. So 30% is supposed to signify that if you are spending more than that, you may have to make sacrifices in terms of other necessities. We have a housing crisis, rent is too damn high, and ultimately, this is not going away anytime soon.
