The Future of Banking in China
I think when you look over really over the decades now, China has been sort of race ahead, consolidated a bit, race ahead. Be sure that it's opening up for real without a step forward, two step backwards because we're sometimes hearing mixed messages from the Chinese authorities. Structurally, China is part of the global economy in a very, very big way. In order to do that, they need to liberalize the arrangements for capital and goods and services moving in and out of China. That's been a steady objective for decades now. I think it will continue to move forward.
