Not many women were allowed to have jobs and the future for them was basically to become a carer for their parents. So it was very important that they find a husband who will look after them for the rest of their lives. The dances were danced en masse, a bit like a folk dance. Lots of people all dancing at the same time. And we hold a Regency ball every year at Christmas. People dress up in Regency costumes. And we get musicians who play the right kind of music. It's terrific, really good.
