Are Demons Responsible for Poltergeists?

The biblical record shows that angels and demons have what we would call teliconesis or psychocnesis. They can mentally affect matter, so there's no reason in principle why a demon couldn't cause a poltergeist case. For a christian to reflecively insist on the demon conclusion is the religious equivalent of an atheist insisting that all polter geists must be the result of fraud and trickery.
