There's clear evidence that the half-life and clearance is significantly higher with intermittent hemodialysis versus CvVH. But in a center like mine, I always recommend that a person undergo intermittent HD, especially if they have severe not responding acidosis and renal failure. You know, we've had cases where we just treat with phemeposol. Ethylene glycol is actually cleared rainily. So it's not always required. It depends on the clinical picture. And patients that you're treating early, a lot of them may not warrant hemodialesis.
