In a constitutional monarchy, the monarchies is the state. And if you look at the legacy of elizabeth the global consensus that she she helped to foster and generate is unprecedented. It reminds politiciansthat they don't occupy the highest space in the land, and that they too are servants. So i think that what we're actually seeing is that in a world where we're rapidly polarizing into deep, deeply aggressive opposing camps,. What actually republics and democracy misses is somebody who can foster consensus in hugely divided societies.
