The Sacramental Economy and the Power of Confirmation
Father Jacob Bertrand: Baptism is our spiritual birth and confirmation is the strengthening of what has taken place in that birth. Father Joseph Anthony: Confirmation exists as the conduit of grace for us to be tethered to Christ so as to be conformed to him, to be forgiven our sin and be his friend. The whole relationship of the sacraments is to grow and friendship and closeness with Christ.
