What Are the Pitfalls in Management of Acute Bell's Palsy?
In acute Bell's palsy, I think really you have to give steroids. And it has to be high dose steroids for at least a week. As the facial nerve regenerates, the face gets a little bit miswired. So patients don't remain looking like they've had a stroke but their face should nerve becomes miswired as it's recovering. It leads to this picture of two tight, some parts of the face, which are too tight and other parts that are too weak.
