Cameron Kessler used to prove the inheritance of acquired characteristics. He believed there was a law just like gravity where similar things happened together. In his dream state, he somehow had access to future events. His ideas are very similar along the same lines as French philosopher Henri Bergson's notion of everyday waking what we're in right now.
