Out of 300 species, there's a little over 50 that are venomous and all the others are harmless. Small snakes will eat locusts, bigger snakes will eat rodents. They're an excellent pest control. And farmers would love to have non-venomous snakes around their field. Once if they have a bit more education on how to deal with them.
