Matt Welch: I don't understand how putting software into some sort of bot or some sort of like mobile, you know, thing creation, gives it personhood any differently than it just existing in the cloud. He says when this entity now has rights and can potentially even vote on Election Day, where's the justification? Welch: This is a topic of conversation that's huge on multiple levels.
