The Moral Philosophy of Altruism
The moral philosophy of altruism can be transformed right into the view that the rich and the powerful have a fundamental obligation to sacrifice for the poor, the powerless and the weak. And so what we now then have is a weapons grade, collectivized form of altruism that is being deployed. The term pathological altruism has long been recognized as a problem within left circles but i'm thinking more about it here.
