I was never part of the gang. It's a very common thing amongst magicians that they're sort of kids that didn't feel very impressive, so you learn a short cut to do that. And most people go through it and then grow out of it and stop. And some of us don't. I look back and find myself really annoying. i'm sureke, we all were to one degree or another at that age. The whole thing of going out and drinking or smoking and all all those kind of things, i was just never really part of it. So by the time i came to university, i was a kind of attention seeker and just very insecure with the whole thing
