The Pythagoran Theorem
When he was about forty years old, he actually established a school in southern italy. People came from around town to come and learn about the very first true mathematician. The pythagoran theorem is kind of like the classic example that people will give for if they either know or forget basic mathematics. Ike: Oh, i don't even know the pythagorans. ray: I can relate it to what we're going to talk about in the second half when we get to imaginary numbers.
