Is There a Balance Between Innovation and Strategy?

Sally Kohn: Ideas distract companies a lot, so we need someone to take the noise that can cause disruption at leadership as well as product teams and channel it in a way that is both productive, but also not distracting. She says there are five elements of an effective innovation team which include autonomy, diversified backgrounds, budgeted time for each specific project or idea. Kohn: If you don't have these 5, I think like the way I say it is like you have a strategy team instead of an innovation team.
