Suffering Love Is Not a Commissioning

Early church defned people by personhood, not by usefulness. The greco roman world took those who were unuseful to society and cast them outside the city gate. So go out and be christ's body to the world. That is a commissioning that includes supernatural power and suffering love. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it. But whoever loses their life for me and my gospel, they'll save it.
