How Do We Perceive Things?

A lot of it is perceptual phenomena. How we perceive things changes based on context, attention. We prioritize motion over static things. In fact, static things can just completely disappear from our view. They're not like cutting edge things. But when you put them all together, they add up to a way of how we build our identity out of our memories of these events and how we perceive things. And you realize that our identities are therefore non-tarly accurate either. Yeah. It probably doesn't hurt if they think that.
