Is There a Difference Between a Static State and a Poetic State?
The difference between prose and poetry is the same kind of tension that you're speaking of. And, and you need that tension, right? But the problem occurs when you start reading people who are really clearly writing from ritual time like Nietzsche. I mean, he's somebody who shows what happens when you really dive deep into ritual space, then you destroy yourself. That's a bit mind boggling. The Nazis were totally in the, in the wake of Friedrich von Heidegger’s ‘Neo-Pythagoreanism,' which was this idea that prohibition would liberate desire. It just isn't how it works.
