The Fire at Fifth Avenue and 34th Street
Hundreds of office workers were trapped a fifth of a mile above the street level. Eyewitness: "We sort of stuck there in an island with fire all around us" We have contacted the eyewitness, Mr. Phil Kirby of the Grand Advertising Agency. He says he looked out of the window and saw two girls trapped on 78th floor.
