Gatsby and his wife Daisy were going to town for the first time. Tom buchanan asked gadsby if he wanted to go with them, but they said no. Dacy's voice got us all out into the blazing gravel drive. The three men stood there shuffling the hot pebbles with our feet. A silver curve of the moon hovered already in the western sky. Gatsby started to speak, changed his mind, but not before tom wheeled and faced him expectantly. Pardon me, haven't you got your stables here? Asked gates by a quarter mile down the road.
