Bob Richardson - A Memoir

Bob Richardson died a little more than two years ago in 2020, but I met him first in the late 1980s. He had finished his biography of Thoreau and through that biography had fallen in love with Annie Dillard. We used to spend time playing Scrabble and anagrams that Annie was very good at,. And he and I just bonded right away about our mutual research. The subject of the book is grief and loss, which sadly, unfortunately, is all too appropriate for us because Robert Richardson has passed away.
