How to Apply Interpersonal Neurobiology to Parenting

One of the things I recommend for my couples is to do a mindfulness exercise out loud together. Because then their partner's voice is coupled with that relaxation and that calming. And so when they are in a stress situation, it's like, oh, I have the experience of your voice making me feel really calm. That is a fantastic example. It's really nice. And so that's, again, that's Hebb's Law. The idea of connect before you correct as a parenting example. Using interpersonal neurobiology in a practical way in your day-to-day life.
