Affirmative Action or Student Debt Relief?

For me, I would kind of apply rational basis versus strict scrutiny for people unfamiliar with these terms. Strict scrutiny is you really have to have a good reason for the government to be abrogating somebody's rights. So again, they think that gay marriage is incorrect and they refuse to drive their ambulance to a gay wedding that had an accident? That passes strict scrutiny for me. But like a cake, that's not necessary at any point of this. It's completely ephemeral. And so what we're really doing as a society is saying, no, you're wrong and we're going to force you to acknowledge the sacrament. And I think that's counter-depurral
