Morris Schwab was an intelligence officer during the First World War. His sister, her husband and all six of their children were killed in the sinking of the Lusitania. He became a soldier after his sister's death but died when he was shot while interviewing German prisoners. "I started out just going through Oscar Wilde books and the indexes," she says.
