Is There a Difference Between Remote Work and Onsite Work?

I think it's much less clear that productivity is either higher or lower based on whether or not you're a remote work or onsite. Supercell just went in the opposite direction and start to say that they're going to consider European based hires outside of Helsinki. I don't know if this is a sea change quite yet. It's silly to try to say that one of them is better than the other broadly as a rule, right?
