Learning in Addition to Teaching

Students cannot learn deeper conceptual understanding simply from better instruction. The job of school is to help students learn the full range of knowledge required for expert and adult, sorry, for expert adult performance. It's difficult to maintain efficient learning of facts without the learning of concepts. Focusing on learning in addition to teaching just doesn't make any sense.
