The Impact of the Pandemic on Black Students

I wanted to get your perspective on the pandemic's toll in particular. Obviously, you being in academic leadership, it was a challenging time for many. I think that let me start with the health issue for a minute and why I think we were impacted. The people most impacted by the pandemic were principally black and brown, probably poor Asian, poor white. Ironically, what did we do? It didn't come around the corner. But what it did is attack the vulnerabilities that existed from the preexisting health conditions that people were already struggling with before them.
