The Edapist Complex and Psychoanalysis
Rookner: A schizophrenic out for a walk, that is in nature, is a better model than a neurotic lying on the analyst's couch. But it's important that we don't romanticize this idea of nature, because nature itself can easily be co-opted and kind of give enough face that it doesn't have. Rookner: Edapist does something to these machines. So it neutralizes them. Or in their words, it presupposes a fantastic repression of desiring machines.
