Is There a Difference?
The work ethic is based on a fundamental idea of human nature that we it's very difficult to be happy standing still. So would you say that? Are you asserting that as a cross cultural truism or are you indexing off certain cultures or civilizations that feel particularly represent that? Yeah, I can't do it cross culture because I don't have the education for that. But definitely within the Western civilization, you know, going all the way back to Homer and seeing it as a red thread throughout so much of philosophy and literature. The yearning. And if we're a place we've lost or a place we're not yet. There's definitely a difference.
